Responsible for all spend in logistics categories including but not limited to trucking, rail, depot & repairs, and supply chain categories such as CHB and Warehousing.
Leadership of the Greater China Area Logistics & Services Procurement team, creating an engaging and high performing workplace, developing direct reports
Ensure the company’s Greater China Area Logistics & Services Procurement and the wider group achieves deflationary unit cost while maintaining and improving ser-vice levels to our customers.
Foster positive vendor relationships and manage performance, ensuring contract compliance and positive cost development.
Develop overall category strategy from both geographical and supplier perspective
Act as a point of escalation relating to dispute and issue resolution
Lead design and selection of appropriate tools and frameworks for category management
Provide financial and commercial analysis and reporting requirements against the projects as required
Managing e-Procurement and implementing digital solutions to modernize the procurement functions
Support to Head of Asia Pacific Procurement on non-sourcing projects and activities
Support to other category sourcing, where and when required
We are looking for:
Prospective candidates are enthusiastic and positive individuals with demonstrable experience in leading procurement and sourcing organizations. Experience leading a diverse team of cultures and managing operations internationally is a must.
Furthermore, direct experience within fields of the logistics & transportation industry is looked upon positively.
