Location: Shanghai


Purpose of the position:

​ The Head of Sales will be responsible for the generation of sales leads and support of pre-sales activities within the company's target industries for all its business lines (consulting, management & software) in China


Task description:

​ Identify, generate, and qualify sales leads for China

​ Implement a structured CRM management (with focus on pre-sales phase)

​ Building/extending the company's network within the Supply Chain Industry in China

​ Representation of the company at public fairs, exhibitions, etc.

​ Plan, coordinate and drive marketing initiatives / campaigns (online & offline) in cooperation with business lines and local marketing

​ Build a detailed understanding of market / customer requirements within China and cooperate with local management and product management team to shape the company's service offering for the China market


Professional requirements and expertise:

​ Bachelor’s or master’s degree

​ Minimum of 8+ years of relevant work experience in sales / business development, preferably within a service company

​ Good understanding of supply chain and logistics

​ Ability to explain a complex value proposition

​ Capability to build long-term relationships with clients

​ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

​ Strong business acumen (entrepreneurial thinking)

​ Intercultural competency

​ Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (native speaker)
