Alcott Global is partnering with an international Consumer Goods company to search for the Global Planning Director. The role will be based in Switzerland.
The Role:
Our client is on a journey to take the global planning process to the next level. Their ambition is to become a trusted supply chain business partner that optimizes the end-to-end supply chain with reliable data and transparent trade-off decisions.
Global end-to-end Planning is a newly established team anchored in the central Supply Chain organization. The team is responsible for making the end-to-end supply chain plans for the next 1 to 3 years that ensure interrupted supply at competitive costs, efficient capital utilization, and in an environmentally sound way.
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for Global E2E Planning across the global supply chain covering the next 1 to 3-year planning horizon
- Drive S&OP process from a data & analytical point of view in the Integrated Business Planning solution. Work closely with the S&OP Business Partners that are responsible for the cross-functional stakeholder collaboration and to drive the facilitation around mid-term supply & demand decisions
- Prepare the tactical supply chain plans that ensure alignment from affiliates, through manufacturing to suppliers and across the different factories
- Ensure supply chain planning parameters are defined and maintained effectively e.g., planning prioritization, segmentations, alerts, and threshold for escalation etc
- Validate both demand and supply inputs to ensure stable and reliable plans are cascaded effectively to the operational planning team
- Led standardization and harmonization of the Global E2E Planning process
- Lead, support and empower the team ensuring high employee engagement
- Sustain a strong collaboration with key stakeholders across the company
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or similar
- 10+ years of experience in Supply chain with a clear record of success in the planning function
- Experience in Supply and Demand planning, including 2+ years of track record leading a planning department
- At ease in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Outside-the-box thinking; an innovative approach to problem solving
- A sharp eye for details, a strong analytical mind and appreciate a firm and consistent structure

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of successful collaboration with different stakeholders from multiple countries and organizational levels
