Position Overview:
As the Vice President of Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing the supply chain operations within the dynamic industry. Your strategic leadership and operational expertise will be instrumental in driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement in the Asia-Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy for the Asia-Pacific region in alignment with the company's global objectives.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for strategic partnerships, process enhancements, and cost-saving initiatives to ensure competitive advantage.
- Lead the execution of supply chain initiatives to support business expansion and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Oversee demand and supply planning processes to ensure accurate forecasting, inventory optimization, and on-time product delivery.
- Monitor market trends and customer requirements, proactively adjusting supply chain plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Cultivate a customer-centric culture within the supply chain organization, focusing on service excellence and prompt issue resolution.
- Attract top talent and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the supply chain team.
- Implement succession planning strategies to ensure a robust pipeline of capable leaders within the organization.
- Utilize data analytics and business intelligence tools to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
- Lead change management efforts for process enhancements, system upgrades, and organizational restructuring projects.
- Encourage cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation, streamline processes, and achieve cost efficiencies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management, preferably within the high-tech, technology, or related industry.
- A proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chain operations in a multinational organization, with specific experience in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
