Job Description

Alcott Global is retained by an international consumer goods (non-food) company to search for a Vice President, E2E Supply Chain. The role is based in the Netherlands.

The VP E2E Supply Chain will be a strategic leader responsible for building the end-to-end supply chain function and driving excellence across all aspects of the supply chain. The role will develop and implement strategies that ensure on-time delivery, cost-effectiveness, and responsiveness to customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive end-to-end supply chain strategy, aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Oversee all supply chain functions, including procurement, sourcing, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and distribution.
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure reliable material flow and cost optimization.
  • Implement and manage inventory control systems to minimize stockouts and carrying costs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Leverage technology solutions to optimize processes and gain real-time visibility across the supply chain.
  • Manage a high-performing supply chain team, providing coaching and mentorship.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support business goals.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management plan to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a leadership role within the consumer goods supply chain.
  • Proven track record of success in driving operational excellence.
  • Experience of managing the S&OP process, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the organization.
  • Experience of managing multiple plants, with a Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in implementing and managing supply chain technology solutions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
