Job Description

Alcott Global is partnering with one of the global companies to look for an experienced and visionary leader for their smart manufacturing initiatives in APAC. In this role, you will develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and drive innovation within the smart factory environment. Your expertise in advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and data-driven decision-making will be critical in shaping the future of the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive smart manufacturing strategy aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Identify, evaluate, and integrate advanced technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, automation, and data analytics into manufacturing processes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and optimize smart manufacturing solutions that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and processes.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and ROI of smart manufacturing initiatives.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on smart manufacturing principles, methodologies, and emerging technologies.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on smart manufacturing concepts, tools, and best practices.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to smart manufacturing.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the manufacturing organization.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in manufacturing operations, focusing on implementing advanced technologies and process improvements.
  • In-depth knowledge of smart manufacturing principles, methodologies, and technologies, including IoT, AI, robotics, automation, and data analytics.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build trusted relationships with global stakeholders significantly in Asia Pacific and Europe
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and leverage data to drive decision-making and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality management systems
  • Certifications in relevant areas such as Lean Six Sigma, project management, or technology platforms are desirable.
