Alcott Global is partnering with a global supply chain SaaS company to search for its next Vice President, Commercial for Australia. Based in Melbourne, this role  will drive commercial growth and lead customer implementations across the market. We're looking for someone with strong supply chain expertise, ideally in the retail sector, who combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership. Executive presence, a track record of scaling teams, and the ability to drive transformation are key. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth In Australia:

  • Market Leadership:
    • Build and develop a commercially successful organization in Australia, positioning the company as a market leader in digital supply chain innovation.
      Formulate and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the Australian market, driving sales and customer acquisition.
    • Sales and Revenue Growth:
      Lead the sales function, driving revenue growth and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
      Oversee customer onboarding, implementation, and expansion efforts to deliver a world-class customer experience and high revenue retention rates.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Foster strong relationships with key customers, providing executive-level engagement to close deals and influence outcomes.
    • Enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Build, develop, and manage a high-performing team across sales, account management, implementation, training, and support.
    • Cultivate a positive, motivating culture within the region, leveraging the role as site leader in the Melbourne office to promote collaboration and celebrate successes.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure productive interaction and collaboration with clients, global partners, marketing, development, and technology teams.
    • Oversee the end-to-end customer experience, ensuring alignment with global standards and practices.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, tailoring strategies to the unique needs and dynamics of each market within the region.
  • Drive business development efforts, establishing strong footholds in key markets and building long-term growth trajectories.

Key Requirements 

  • Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in Supply Chain SAAS in Australia, ideally with Retail and EDI knowledge.   
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial background with a proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, manage change effectively, and inspire a culture of excellence.
  • International Experience: Experience working in international organizations and managing cross-functional teams across different geographies.
  • Communication Skills: Fluency in English; additional languages relevant to the Asia region are a plus. Exceptional interpersonal, networking, presentation, analytical, and influencing skills.
  • Mobility: Ability to travel as needed to meet customers and for international company meetings.
  • 15+ years relevant experience, 10+ years in management.
