Alcott Global is working with a leading global industrial organization to search for a Head of Supply Chain based in Europe.

Role Purpose

The Head of Supply Chain will lead the end-to-end regional supply chain agenda across demand and supply planning, logistics, warehousing, inventory management and distribution. The role will define and execute the supply chain strategy, strengthen planning and S&OP disciplines, improve service and cost performance, and build greater resilience across a multi-country manufacturing network.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation

  • Define and execute the supply chain strategy across planning, logistics, inventory and distribution.

  • Translate business and commercial priorities into clear supply chain plans and measurable performance outcomes.

  • Drive transformation, digitalization and process standardization across the supply chain network.

2. Planning, S&OP & Inventory

  • Lead S&OP and integrated demand and supply planning across markets and manufacturing sites.

  • Improve forecast accuracy, production alignment, inventory optimization and working capital performance.

  • Strengthen planning governance, KPI discipline and cross-functional decision-making.

3. Logistics, Service & Operational Excellence

  • Drive performance across logistics, warehousing and distribution, with a strong focus on service, cost and reliability.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency and customer service.

  • Use data, analytics and digital tools to improve visibility and decision-making across the network.

4. Resilience, Risk & Business Continuity

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks across a complex multi-country operating environment.

  • Develop contingency plans and resilience strategies to protect supply continuity and customer service.

  • Partner closely with manufacturing, commercial, finance and other senior stakeholders to manage operational and business risks.

5. Organizational Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead and develop a multi-location supply chain organization.

  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Strengthen leadership capability, succession depth and functional expertise across the supply chain organization.

Desired Candidate Profile 

  • Senior supply chain leader with strong experience across planning, logistics, inventory, warehousing and distribution within an industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Proven track record leading supply chain organizations across multiple sites and countries.

  • Strong experience in S&OP / IBP, demand and supply planning, inventory optimization and supply chain transformation.

  • Demonstrated success improving service, cost, productivity, resilience and working capital performance.

  • Experience with supply chain digitalization, ERP platforms and analytics-based decision-making.

  • Strong cross-functional leader able to operate effectively with senior stakeholders across operations, commercial and finance.

  • Relevant sector experience may include building products, HVAC, engineered products, diversified industrials or other manufacturing environments.
