Job Description
Alcott Global is retained by a global industrial technology manufacturing company to search an exceptional Supply Chain Leader to drive and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. This key role involves being a subject matter expert (SME) and trusted business partner, fostering sustainable growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate will oversee demand and supply planning, inventory management, supply chain performance, and strategic projects while fostering collaboration across teams to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Demand and Supply Planning:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure demand visibility and alignment with business revenue plans, considering product life cycles (NPI, maturity, EOL).
- Evaluate mid-term supply gaps, assess business impacts, and develop actionable plans to address risks.
- Manage allocation strategies for global supply challenges and drive monthly Supply Review (SR) processes.
- Supply Chain Performance:
- Optimize inventory efficiency by measuring end-to-end stock value, DOH, and health, while driving inventory target achievement and aging/GIR reduction.
- Enhance on-time delivery (OTD) and production delivery reliability (PDR) through improved demand stability, stock policies, and capacity planning.
- Supply Chain Optimization and Projects:
- Continuously review supply chain performance to identify optimization opportunities for improved delivery, lead time, and cost efficiency.
- Lead supply chain aspects of migration projects, including flow alignment, ramp-up/down plans, and synchronization of actions across functions.
- Drive mini S&OP reviews for key product lines and projects, ensuring alignment with performance goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with demand planning, manufacturing operations, global sourcing, product managers, and finance teams.
- Partner with DC and plant planners to ensure seamless replenishment, production planning, and materials management.
- Engage with executive leadership to report on supply chain performance and strategic initiatives
Key Measures of Success:
- Customer satisfaction (OTD, lead time).
- Supply performance (supply plan accuracy, gap mitigation).
- Cash and cost management (inventory value, DOH, excess/GIR reduction).
- Project outcomes (NPI/EOL management, footprint project success).
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or related field (CPIM/CSCP certification is a plus).
- 8+ years of supply chain planning experience, including 3-5 years in team management and supply chain optimization projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in SIOP, product life cycle management, demand management, inventory optimization, and production/capacity planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and ERP systems; familiarity with planning tools (e.g., Kinaxis, IBP) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
